Cookies & Advertising
Last updated:
This page explains the difference between storage needed for FunPFP features and technologies that may be used for advertising.
For support, privacy requests and rights concerns: info@funpfp.com.
Storage used by the current service
Authentication cookies maintain a signed-in session and help protect account access. Supabase authentication uses cookies with names beginning with “sb-”; exact names and expiry depend on the session and provider configuration.
Local storage stores favorites on your device. The administrator bulk uploader uses an IndexedDB database named “funpfp-bulk-recovery” to retain selected files and metadata for recovery. These records remain until cleared or replaced; there is no automatic local expiry.
Our analytics does not use tracking cookies
FunPFP’s own analytics stores aggregate response counts rather than a browser identifier. It does not set an analytics cookie, track a person across websites or store full referrer URLs. Requests with DNT or GPC signals are excluded from those counters.
Cloudflare and Supabase may still process technical request and account information as described in Privacy. Cookie-free counters do not mean the website or its providers receive no data.
Google AdSense and third-party advertising
AdSense is not active on this new preview. When enabled, Google and other participating advertising vendors may place and read cookies or use similar identifiers to show, measure and protect ads. Google advertising cookies can support ads based on visits to this site and other websites.
Before advertising is enabled, applicable consent controls and the list of participating vendors must be configured. Where consent is required, optional advertising processing must follow the choice recorded by those controls. This policy page itself is not a consent mechanism.
Advertising choices
Google provides controls for personalized advertising and information about data use on partner sites. Other advertising providers may offer their own opt-out mechanisms. A choice about personalized ads does not necessarily remove all ads or all processing needed to deliver them.
Browser controls
Your browser can block or delete cookies and clear site storage. Blocking sign-in cookies can prevent account features from working. Clearing local storage removes device-only favorites, and clearing IndexedDB removes a saved bulk-upload batch. Account records are not deleted by clearing browser data.
Private browsing may discard storage when the session closes. Check your browser’s settings and use Contact for questions about FunPFP’s storage or privacy handling.
